American Legion Post 177 Honor Guard Participates in Wreath Laying Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery

There is not a more solemn ceremony on Veterans Day than at the Arlington National Cemetery and Tomb of the Unknowns.  American Legion Post 177 assisted with the ceremony by providing an honor guard and ushers.

Mark Duke, Post 177 Commander, was present at the ceremony along with Brett Reistad, Department of Virginia Commander, and Linden Dixon, 17th District Commander.

Tom Bock, American Legion National Commander, was one of the guest speakers along with Dick Cheney, Vice President of the United States.  Vice President Cheney laid the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery prior to the ceremony.

American Legion Post 177 was well represented at the ceremony honoring Veterans past and present.  Post 177 completed the day with Post Commander Mark Duke laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns in the late afternoon.
